Just Natural Organic Wholemeal Spelt Flour is carefully selected from trusted organic growers around the world, milled from an ancient wheat variety valued for its nutty, slightly sweet flavour and, for some people, easier digestibility than modern wheat despite still containing gluten. It works well in bread, pastry and baking where a more traditional, heritage-grain flavour is wanted, and can be used much like wholemeal wheat flour, though doughs may need slightly less kneading as spelt gluten is more delicate.
